Example Meal Menu

We have our own qualified and experienced cook who prepares the children’s food daily

We provide the children with a morning and afternoon snack, a 2 course hot lunch and a 2 course hot or cold tea (depending on the season). Children in the School Club are provided with a 2 course hot tea after school.


Fresh fruit and water are freely available for all the children to access throughout the day.


Where ever possible, ingredients are locally sourced.


We are regularly inspected by the Environmental Health Department and have achieved the highest 5 Star Rating for our Food Hygiene and have been awarded Northamptonshire’s Gold Healthy Heartbeat Award for our healthy menus.


As of December 2014, food businesses (which include any nurseries where food is provided) will now have to provide information to consumers about the 14 allergenic ingredients on the regulatory list.

These allergens are:
  • Eggs
  • Milk
  • Fish
  • Crustaceans (eg crab, lobster, crayfish, shrimps, prawn)
  • Molluscs (eg mussels, oyster, squid)
  • Peanuts
  • Tree nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, cashews, pecans, brazils, pistachios, macadamia nuts or Queensland nuts)
  • Sesame Seeds
  • Cereals containing gluten (wheat (such as spelt, Khorasan wheat/Kamut), rye, barley, oats or their hybridised strains)
  • Soya
  • Celery or celeriac
  • Mustard
  • Lupin
  • Sulphur dioxide and sulphites (at a concentration of 10:1000000)
